Middletown School, Wilson County Kansas

    Since finding many of my ancestors lived in Wilson County Kansas and were buried there in the Little Sandy Cemetery I became very interested in that region of Kansas.  I was never able to find records for this cemetery. So the decision was made to record the cemetery.  This was a much bigger job than first anticipated.  But thanks to my wonderful family the job was finished and I have included all that information here for anyone needing to research it.  Many stones are in very poor condition and some completely unreadable.  We spent many hours/days trying to glean as much information as possible at each gravesite.  We were as thorough as (I think) anyone could be.  But if you have any information on an unreadable, missing stone or a correction please send me an email with that information included.
Since that first cemetery recording I've collected many more records and cemetery information from different states. I've added a lot of that here so that it might help someone else researching these areas. See the links on the left side of the page.
